Pie Class + Farm Tour

This holiday season wouldn't it be great to add to the mix with a handmade blueberry pie? Or bring one to those summer picnics? This is your chance. Join our long-time employee, Rachel, and her mother as they teach you a thing-or-two about making pies and trends bakers are using to naturally color pie crust with our organic heirloom blueberry powder and juice. 

During the class, you'll get the chance to tour the farm and learn how to make an entirely-from-scratch blueberry pie. For the fall and winter classes, we'll be using frozen blueberries from our 2019 harvest. For the summer classes, we'll hit the organic fields and hand-pick the berries ourselves.

You'll leave Bow Hill with a ready-to-bake or freeze pie, baking instructions, crust and pie recipe for future use, a new pie plate (in which your new pie will be in), pastry cutter, box to transport pie in, and rolling pin (included in the cost of class). If freezing your pie, we'll be able to vacuum seal the pie on site.

Additional perks include a private tasting of our entire line of organic blueberry products and a 10% off coupon to use in our store the day of the class (includes all products: our farm-made line and our Bow Hill merchandise, frozen berries, ice cream, and popsicles). 

All classes will take place in our historic Mink House. In the colder months, the Mink House will be kept warm by a cozy fireplace. CLASSES ARE LIMITED TO TWELVE PARTICIPANTS EACH. DATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE IF THERE AREN'T ENOUGH PEOPLE SIGNED UP PER CLASS.

*Anyone who's attended a pie class in years past or signs up for multiple classes this 2019/2020 season.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel, all class fees are refunded within 48 hours of signing up. After that, classes are refunded 50% (due to supplies ordered, time, etc.) until the week before scheduled class, in which case there is no refund. If someone can fill the spot off the waitlist, you’ll get an 80% refund. If I end up canceling/rescheduling the class due to lack of participants, you’ll get a full refund.
