Hold Your Event at Bow Hill Blueberries

Our lovely 6-acre Farm is settled in the Skagit Valley at the foot of the Chuckanut Mountains. We enjoy a neighborhood of pleasant farmland with beautiful scenery and are located 25 minutes from Bellingham and 5 minutes from I-5. 

We open our outdoor venue in May and welcome indoor events throughout the year. We sit up to 36 in our historic indoor event space and have a variety of locations, you are welcome to bring additional tables, seating, or tents. The Mink House, our el fresco sun patio, and the field are all available. We’ll do our best to cater to your needs*. Whether your event is a company meeting or an anniversary party, we think there's something for you here.

Sting lights can he hung in the field upon request. The Mink House has them up year round.

Your rental comes with bar access. While we do not provide alcohol or food, you can work with us and a line of producers to create a local menu. The Mink House has a prep area with refrigerator access where you can pour drinks and prep food, though no stove or oven — the full kitchen is available with an added rental fee. The Mink House does not have a freezer, but we have plenty of freezer space on-site. If you think you’ll be needing freezer space, please specify.

What are our rental options? 

Each area of rental space comes with access to the el fresco sun patio located at our storefront, here we can set up bar space and provide an additional table and seating for 15-25 guests.

The Mink House - 36 guests

This space is roughly 525 sq. ft. with a large sliding farm door that opens to the surrounding lawn and views of the berry fields. There you’ll find various sitting areas, as well as a small fire pit. All three of the barn tables can fit in this space and can be moved upon request, there is an accessible refrigerator and prep space, as well as a wood stove that can be used to heat the space. This space provides seating for 36, the el fresco sun patio provides space for an additional 15-20.

The Berry Field - 40 guests

Imagine basking in an August sunset surrounded by good company while the blueberry bushes drip with fruit and the glowing sunflowers frame the table setting spread out before you. We can help make that happen. We’ll help with set-up and take-down, but this space is only available after you-pick, 5 pm–10 pm. Renting the field space comes with additional access to the Mink House, with the tables out in the field this space can be easily setup for dancing or socializing with friends. This space provides seating for 40, the el fresco sun patio provides space for an additional 15-20.

Mink House Buffet - up to 75 guests

If you'd like to set up a buffet line in the mink house and dine standing or seated around the farm, this is an option for up to 75 people (however, we only have seating for approximately 50).

Accessibility

There are no stairs that any guest would encounter, though, due to the fact that this is a working farm, there are natural hazards in the fields. We provide an ADA approved outhouse during the summer months. Unfortunately, our regular restroom facilities' doors no not accommodate standard wheelchairs.

*We're not set up to host weddings (other than elopements or under 50 guests) at the farm. We're a working farm and our harvest and the business are our priority. Please contact us about hosting a small wedding at the farm and we'll see if we're a good fit for your big day.
